端午----一个诗人的传说，据《史记》记载，是春秋时期楚怀王的大臣。他倡导举贤授能，富国强兵，力主联齐抗秦，遭到贵族子兰等人的强烈反对，于是遭谗去职，还被流放。后来，秦国攻破楚国京都，他心如刀割，便抱石投汩罗江，用生命谱写了一曲壮丽的爱国主义篇章。
“五月五是端阳，门插艾，香满堂。吃粽子，洒白糖。龙舟下水喜洋洋。”每到端午节，家家户户热热闹闹，忙得不亦乐乎。而我最喜欢的就是包粽子了，我先学着妈妈的样子将粽叶洗净，然后取出三张粽叶，毛面相对，，再在上面放入1/3的糯米，入蜜枣和少许葡萄干，又用糯米盖得严严实实的。我开始有点沾沾自喜了，心想简单的粽子根本难不倒聪明的我。可是当我把粽叶盖好时，糯米就像一个顽皮的小孩子，接二连三的跳了出来，我急得像热锅上的蚂蚁------团团转，幸好妈妈“出手相救”，替我“解了围”----把一些糯米弄掉，我这才舒了一口气，心里一块沉重的大石头总算放了下来。经过了一些挫折，终于到了最后的步骤----扎棕绳，我把粽子捆了好几圈，这才放心地交给了妈妈，不一会，粽子就煮熟了，一股清香钻进我的鼻孔，再一品尝，啊，粘甜有劲，回味无穷。
