有人会问什么是低碳生活呢？低碳生活就是不用一次性纸杯喝水，不喝塑料瓶装的饮料，喝自家保温杯的水；到超市购物不用超市的一次性塑料袋，用可以多次使用的环保布袋；是少开私家车，多坐公交车，多骑自行车出行。这些都是每个人可以做到的。就拿发生在我身上的一件小事，就是低碳生活的一个小例子。
记得有一天，我和爸爸妈妈出去吃饭，到了饭店，爸爸说他渴了，爸爸就喊服务员先来一大瓶橙汁，但是我突然想起饮料瓶都是塑料的，这是非常不低碳环保的，所以我和爸爸说我们就用饭店的玻璃杯喝点白开水吧，爸爸说为什么呢，我就把在电视上看到的关于现在地球气候变暖，冰川融化都是因为人类的一些不环保的行为破坏了大气层，才会造成这样，您要喝饮料就是塑料瓶装的，它就属于会破坏环境的一样物品，如果我们大家都少使用像这些会破坏环境的东西，那我们的地球就少受伤害，我们才会生活的更美好，爸爸听了我的话后感到很欣慰，还夸我小小年纪就有如此强烈的环保意识，还答应我以后要向我学习，做一个爱护地球，过低碳生活的人。
低碳就等于环保，过低碳生活可以减少污染，这是我们每个人都应该做的。低碳生活就是我们身边的点点滴滴，我们一定要保护地球，不让我们的“母亲”再受到伤害了。
